Thursday, May 21, 2020 - From a bottle purchased upon release and pristinely cellared in a great natural cellar.The wonderful nose just explodes out of the glass,wafting very pure aromas of blackberry liqueur,violets,truffles,sweet leather and hints of mint.Rich and luscious,there is such a beautiful purity of fruit in this wine,and the tannins are so juicy. It glides across the palate with a silky/smooth mouthfeel,remarkable texture and a spicy,sweet, long finish. Is it really 20 years old ? Seemed it has been bottled 3 month ago. What a beauty.Wow !
