Saturday, July 3, 2021 - Having a group of wine friends over for my birthday to blind taste a few Bordeaux 2000 while BBQ'ing. Nose of brett and farmyard that dissipated with some air giving way to a classic farmyard/forest floor nose with dark fruit and some Margaux spices in the background. Most guessed Pauillac here as well. Very confident wine. Peak, drink up over the next few years.
