Friday, November 11, 2016 - An extraordinary CSJ and, in fact, the greatest CSJ I've ever tasted. There is a fabulous floral lift to this wine which is big and concentrated but so perfectly balanced by grippy acids and crisp tannins. The finish is so pure cherry complexity with great mineral notes. Rousseau bombed it in '96 and this is drinking better than the Beze and Chamb right now but all 3 are potential 100 point wines. 97+
