Saturday, March 15, 2014 - Opened as part of a Buchignani vertical tasting. Much brighter acidity than the Zin from the same vineyard. Bright spiced raspberry pie fruit, a bit of baking spice on the nose, hints of herbal tea, & violets. Flavors of baked bread, herbs & tea. One of my favorite Ridge Carignan bottlings to date.
