Tuesday, February 22, 2022 - It's a nice cab, but overpriced. I have tasted over 20 of these. Core issue is the cheap cork they used. It's a shame since the bottle is costly. From the 20 I have tried this one is solid with no flaws. Several have had flaws. I think it from importing grapes from who knows where. Thus a lot a variability in the wine.

I find cork quality to not have longevity from many of the vintners in CA so it is not specific to just hall. Tonight I am trying a 2007 Nickel & Nickel cab and the cork broke. I could still extract it like a surgeon. Wine is still perfect.
