Saturday, August 30, 2014 - Rose, earth and raspberry on the nose. A big pinot noir, but with excellent richness and structure. California in style for sure, but well balanced; NOT a fruit bomb. Black raspberry and cranberry upfront, backed with a slight bit of cherry. Spice and earth notes on the finish along with very good acidity that contributes to good length overall. I believe this wine is still integrating and smoothing out. Plenty of structure and plenty of fruit suggest that this will continue to improve.
