Sunday, November 12, 2017 - Dark fruit notes on the nose. On the palate it had notes of chalky, cocoa powder and coffee beans. The wine was lacking on the mid palate as it was lacking structure. Short finish. The wine was better with 1.5 hours + of being decanted. I feel the average rating to be very accurate. Maybe the wine was better when younger?
