Thursday, July 2, 2009 - Laying down for 3 years has certainly improved this wine. I decanted almost 2 hours before pouring a glass, but could smell the sour cherry, plum aromas the whole time it sat on the table. Same dark, inky color as before, tannins are smooth, but there's still some heat through the mid-palate. Cherry, blackberry and white pepper... a slight spice. Actually, quite enjoyable, pity its my last one.
