Thursday, February 1, 2007 - Big, ripe estery syrah-like nose of sweet cherry with some cocoa and raisin. Big in the mouth with ripe cherry and blackberry, toast, black pepper, and lots of chewy tannins. Maybe a bit hollow on the midpalate. Could easily go a few more years. I don't love it, but it's good QPR for the style.
