Just stunning from the moment the cork was pulled. Classic Jamet perfume, less roasted than '98 or '99 and perhaps less fresh than '04, but no complaints whatsoever. In a great place with both generous sweet red fruits and lots of secondary, savory development. Drink and hold.
Perhaps just past peak for my taste, but nice with mostly resolved tannin and dried fruit and black tea flavors. Some brett on the nose gives it a rustic feel. I enjoyed this, but it's not even close to this producer's Pommard 'Perrieres' from this vintage, imo.
