Sunday, January 17, 2016 - Bottle #5 of a 6 bottle OCC. Popped and poured, in the middle of a HK winter - bottle at room temperature (c. 20 degrees celsius).

Dark purple color, medium viscosity. On the nose, blackberries and blueberries, with hints of chocolate. Full bodied, with smooth, very well integrated tannins, some sweetness, slight alcohol heat. Good for what it is - "powerful but not over the top" definitely a great summary from DREDWARDO.

I generally prefer lighter wines, but on a cold winter night, this really hit the spot!
