Sunday, August 29, 2021 - 1st of 12, decanted an hour, perfect level, cork quarter travelled - dark dense ruby, little development; sweaty saddle, garrigue, earth, some mainly plum fruit flavours, mineral; full, long, persistent, intense and concentrated, some heat but not excessive, tannins not fully resolved, some years from maturity, considerable upside and good for 20+ years. F+ (18) for now.
