Sunday, September 8, 2013 - The 2010 Château Fourcas-Borie is medium purple in colour with purple currant dark prunes, plums, slight vanilla and medium alcoholic nose. On the palate, a soft entry of plums and ripe prunes. Smooth and balanced mid-palate as it progresses to a finish of gentle tannins and uplifting acidity. Simple and straight forward. Short finish but rather pleasant for its price point.
