Friday, May 29, 2015 - Tasted at the 1965-1992 Ridge retrospective as a pre tasting white. No Monte Bello chardonnay in 2009 so all the Monte Bello fruit went into the Estate wine. Color is pale gold. Suttle butter notes along with some apple and lemon. Creamy texture and finishes off with a vanilla taste on the palette. While drinking well now, it will hold for several more years. Tasted two days later with similar notes.
