Monday, July 6, 2015 - Petrol and rubber. Pours a rich gold with lemony translucent edges but already I can smell the petrol and rubber. Intense nose, lots of fresh citrus, cut lime, crisp granny smith, and overwhelming kerosene. "Freshly opened can of tennis balls" - I get it now. Medium plus acidity, medium creamy body, medium minus alcohol, medium length finish. Bone dry. A solid riesling for the price and bottle age has done wonders to turn citrus into petrol. Worth every penny. Drink now until 2017.
