Monday, May 22, 2017 - A pleasant surprise. Dark color, with no signs of age. Nice nose - blueberries and grilled meats. Same on the palate, along with a dash of white pepper (no mistaking it for anything else). Medium body, but still rich. Good finish. Paired very well with grilled lamb chops. Varietally correct and, at $17.55, a spectacular value. Holding up very well, but I suspect it still should be consumed within the next year or so.
