Monday, December 12, 2011 - Red fruit, small berries, and some lilac notes and hints of cedar. Nice sweet fruit, quite elegant with a medium mouth feel. It's all remarkably balanced and there is a solid mineral backbone on the finish that makes sense, as this is grown in schist. There is also citrus skin oil notes on the finish. Nice smooth wine and overall superb quality for the modest price.
