Tuesday, July 26, 2011 - Wow! Black-purple color with a soft, velvety, slithering texture that envelops a dense, rigid structure. It has a kick in the end, but just as you'd think it's over its got a second tail! Flavors of lifted deep black cherry at the core with hints of dark chocolate, espresso, jammy currant, slight oak and darkly toasted vanilla. Drinking beautifully now and it seems like it's going for the long haul - maybe 2020(?) This has ranked in my top 3 to date. Definitely a classic and a must-try for any wine lover.
