Saturday, November 15, 2008 - Gets better and better. Big, fruit, excellent wine that may be at its peak. Drank beside 01,02 03 Ch. Montelena Estate wines. All excellent wines. Fabulous evening of wine drinking. The Insignia was perhaps the best of the group, but considering the added age and blend difference (100% cabernet vs bordeaux blend) it's apples to oranges. Finished the evening with Envy which opened up beautifully and held it's own.
