Sunday, May 18, 2014 - Tasted against the 2008. You can really tell the vintage differences. The 2008 was very linear, young and with lots of structure and elegance. The 2009 is a bruiser. In some ways more accessible now and better to drink. The 2008 will be the best wine down the road. Otherwise it showed well. Curant flavous, sweetness, creamy. You can sense the steel tanks. Keep it cool though. The alcohol comes out when it warms up. All in all a very nice champagne.
