Saturday, September 2, 2023 - Still so young and fresh. Color is on the dark side. Loads of overripe black cherry on the attached but the fruit is far from jammy or too extracted. The depth of the fruit is balanced out by some lovely earthen notes, a little vanilla Oak to add a touch of creaminess. Tannins are smooth and thick but completely pliable. Came back to it an hour later and the wine was still showing very well. This bottle still had another handful of years in top form left in it.
