Saturday, June 20, 2015 - Opened and decanted for an hour. Probably needed more air in hindsight. Very classic Rioja notes. Tobacco. Vanilla. Pretty lean body. Finish is medium to medium plus.

Overall a little disjointed. Some powerful flavors, but just didn't seem like a super integrated wine right now. Of course, was also up against some stiff competition from Napa cabs on this night, so that may have been a disservice to it.

Not sure how crazy I am about this on QPR. If revisiting soon, would decant longer (4 hours?). Or wait to see what the future holds.
