Saturday, February 29, 2020 - Coravin fun - Leoville Barton & new arrivals (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Dense smelling, red and black fruits; berries especially, slight vanilla, a little chocolate and caramel, sweet spices. Slightly meaty notes and black tea join the growing fruit on the nose with time. Juicy, savoury, red and black fruits (berries backed by cherries) persist very long with silky tannins that dry the gums, vanilla. Lots going on, all of it good. Really lovely.
