Sunday, May 26, 2013 - Almost black in color with purple hues at the rim. It has an intense, concentrated nose of smoked dried berries, licorice, espresso, and perfumed floral scents. The palate has a full body with focused flavors of black cherry, currant, cassis, tobacco, leather and smoke. Very intense and persistent all throughout the finish that lasts for 45 seconds. This is just amazing - pure and clean. It's very well balanced with high-pitched acidity. Will drink very elegantly in 2016 to 2038.
