Thursday, March 8, 2012 - The wine is a beautiful burgundy-a bit darker and heavier than most merlot. The nose is berry with a light hint of chocolate. This wine explodes with berry, vanilla, some light spice and medium oak. The tannins are very light with a great mouthfeel. We drank this wine before its drinking window. It will continue to mature for at least five years.
