Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Bright garnet. Chocolate, plums, cherries, tea leaves and barely overripe strawberries. The palate is quite sleek with rosehips dominating, nicely caressing tannins and a hint of finishing heat. To sum up, this is a little hollow and disjointed now, and I'm not sure if it has the backbone to last. Pleasant and competent, though, with nice typicity.
