Wednesday, June 22, 2022 - Again a super price-quality ratio! A very dark red color. Relucatant nose of dark berries. Very silky on the tongue, medium finish. Given the price: absolutely wonderful. But I must admit: in a blind tasting I wouldn’t have identified this wine as a C9P, I miss the garrigue notes. Compared with the 2007 I had some years ago, this is by far less complex. Don’t get me wrong: this is a wonderful wine, but not 96 points. Probably it’s over the peak, although I couldn’t find signs of overage.
