Saturday, November 5, 2011 - Beautiful nose of blueberries, leather, maraschino cherry. On the palate, an explosion of that same beautiful blueberry and red fruit mix, good acidity, ripe tannin in spades that turns leathery on the lengthy finish. A certain spiciness to it on the palate, a bit peppery. All in all delicious and paired just fine with a simple dish of pasta in tomato sauce. Disappeared in a hurry.
