Tuesday, April 19, 2016 - Bottle #4 of 6. Enjoyed over two nights. This wine's hallmark is its balance - fantastic fruit still, beautiful acidity and enough structure to hold it all together and provide superb detail, just enough bottle age to show plenty of complexity, and not too much oak - just enough to keep it full and rich and provide mouth feel and texture. Still huge, chiseled red black and purple fruit, with a wonderful crisp green note, almost like stem inclusion, that I associate with this vineyard. Good for another 2-4 years, but it's stupendous now.
