Friday, May 27, 2016 - Decanted for three hours before service. In the glass, dark, saturated purple-tinted maroon. On the nose, clean, pure aromatics of stone fruit and currants. On the palate, currants and a slight vegetal green pepper note, made me think cabernet franc, with a long, tannic finish (although not as tannic as I was expecting given other CT comments up to this point). Approachable now, but still primary - I think another 5-10 years are needed to bring out all of the goodness.
