Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - Pretty red and purple fruits with violet undertones, nice mid palate intensity, some stoniness, and ample, juicy acidity. Very nice texture and a fairly long finish. That said, there’s also a faint but noticeable bretty note. I generally don’t mind a hint of brett in Loire cf, but it seems out of place in a wine that otherwise eschews rusticity and aims for a degree of elegance.
