Tuesday, May 3, 2016 - The challenge of this wine would be tasting it blind. It seems rather like warm vintage pinot noir with more persistent acidity. It has red fruit, some crushed stone, a surprisingly lush mouth feel. The finish evolves slowly and fades softly. I don't think the wine has a long life ahead as the tannins are resolved. A good food wine and one that will go across a broad spectrum from Italian dishes to roasted meats and stews.
