Saturday, March 28, 2015 - A very brief whiff of bottle funk on the sommelier's tasting pour. Beautiful color with suggestion of bricking. With very little air a rich and concentrated Leroy nose with transparent Vosne spice and dark fruit jump from the glass. Coats every corner of the mouth--a wine of incredible finesse. Lingering finish. Easily could be mistaken for a grand cru if served blind. This bottle was quite a bit more memorable than one opened 4-5 years ago. Drinking beautifully now and should hold for several years.
