Thursday, February 28, 2013 - Dark purple, inky, teeth strainer but wonderfully complex with excellent structure. Nicely balanced with good acidity. Powerful wine with flavors of blackberry with a slate/granite earthiness. Short finish that developed with spicy food. This is a great wine that needs a lot more time in the cellar. Try again in 2015.
