Friday, December 18, 2015 - Don't what it was about this bottle on this night, but this wine showed very well. Nice nose of violets, tar, red raspberry, leather, and smoke. On the palate, rich with red berries, black raspberry, spice, leather, and smoked game. Nice finish with decent grip and balanced acidity. The floral aromas were incredible. Drink or continue to hold over the shorter term.
