Tuesday, April 14, 2015 - To be fair, this wine was coravined about three months ago, but I get big jammy fruits with some black pepper that builds throughout the body, as does the sensation of alcohol that lingers and almost feels like camphor through the nose. What to do with this wine??? It's a pretty good Tuesday night wine but will be well served to those who enjoy big fruit forward wines with overt spices and herbs. To its credit this wine has layers and finishes for nearly a minute, but the balance is off.
