Monday, October 3, 2022 - Extremely light around edges (watermelon rim) and discreet, almost closed nose right out of the bottle. As it opens, red fruits get darker and show more body than expected - gaining weight and plushness. Red berries, earth and some mineral and herbs as it opens with silky tannins and some oak on med + finish. It needs time and a long decant. Very nice finish though plush, almost fat fruit masks both structure and secondary and tertiary notes at the moment.
