Monday, November 28, 2016 - A puzzling beauty. Out of the gate, it is typical medium weight Beaune with sparkling acidity and drying tannins. After a few hours it takes on more weight and unfolds into a satiny and rich, slightly complex mouthfull. Earthy, but feminine, it goes from typical high tone to lower tone flavors in a matter of hours..A beguiling wine, with obvious potential for a few more years of aging.
