Friday, June 15, 2012 - The nose showed bright ripe cherries, cinnamon sugar and coco dust with a savory side as well that added leather, chalk dust, eucalyptus and seared meat. On the palate, it was full bodied and glided over the senses like a velvet glove. Notes of black cherry, raisin, sweet spices and licorice leading into the long staying finish. You can smell and taste the Amarone style of wine-making, yet this is brighter and more vibrant than most Amarone I've tasted.
