This is a BIG, dark, pleasure drinking wine. Tons of black & blue SWEET fruit on the palate with spice, oak & dirt. While it is not a seamless wine, the components are solid & the finish last a long time. There is a sweetness that lingers. I don't get a lot on the nose, but I do pick up hints of french oak. There is very good freshness (acidity) it seems, but not overly complex. This is a great party wine when your "wine group" is not invited. Would be interested to see if this thing can age at all.
