Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - Hawaiian Escape; 11/19/2016-11/26/2016 (Kuki'o): Expressive nose of stalky and brambly red berry fruit. Dry soil and hay prominently featured on the bouquet. Palate has a lot of mature but sweet cranberry fruit. Fairly indicative of the Dujac style as this was pleasantly unrefined, but the palate was a touch thin and lacked the density of both Dujac and Charmes. Good and interesting drinking right now, but can't really see this improving. Still a good bottle of wine.
