Friday, April 8, 2022 - Opened 4 hours before dinner. Nice, classic, mature Bordeaux. Ruby color with a light brick/pink rim. I enjoy the nose: cassis fruit, cedar, black tea, brown sugar, a bit stewy, a touch herbal. There is a lot going on and it makes an impact. Very nice. Nose is a solid A. The palate has a nice beginning yet things thin out a bit in the mid palate and on the finish. Tobacco. Interestingly, the wine lingers long after swallowing. Very nice just not special. Ready to go.
