Saturday, May 24, 2014 - Some reduction on the nose mixed with jammy dark fruits on the palate. The wine was a tad overripe and lacked the balance of tannin and acid. Overall, a decent '97, but not a great wine and marginally enjoyable. The flaws of the vintage could not be overcome.
