Saturday, January 28, 2023 - Sampled at Oinoscent during service. Notes taken an hour after the bottle was opened.
The wine shows hazy cherry color.
The wine shows a slightly numb profile, earthy, dusty, overripe and dried red cherry and currant notes, balsamic notes, spice frame.
Palate quite evolved, balsamic notes, elevated acidity, dissolved tannins, dried red fruit, alcohol warmth dominating palate, a bit aggressive, earthy cinnamon and whole spice, medium body and finish.
With time it gets smoother, juicier, still earthy, overripe red fruit, with spice and coffee notes.
