Thursday, May 4, 2017 - Popped and allowed to breathe in glass over cocktails. Opened up quickly to reveal a nose of cassis and hay. Lush and ripe on the palate. The high proportion of Cab Franc gives it that pureed-fruit mouthfeel. Plenty of acid and youthful tannins on the finish. This may be at peak or it may have decades ahead of it...I don't have the expertise to know, but given the classic Bordeaux blend reminiscent of Graves and the winemaker's reputation, I wouldn't be surprised. Certainly enjoyable right now.
