Friday, March 10, 2023 - 2023 Napa in the City: Gala Dinner (The Pool in NYC): We had another 2003 this night that was a total monster. I remember this was a hot vintage most everywhere in the world and Napa was no different. And yet this wine had great elegance and finesse while still keeping that signature Napa blue and black fruit. It was really tasty even today (although clearly with a lot of potential for continued aging). Made by Rosemary as well who worked at Spottswoode from 1997 (?) though 2012.
