On the nose unmistakeable Napa Cabernet; Brambles, leather, a good bit of tannin.
On the palate surprisingly fruity, full, soft with a firm backbone of tannin; still not fully evolved. Much new world winemaking at work.
On the whole: Over-extracted and too jammy. For me, knowing this wine-maker and past bottlings of this wine: Disappointing.
