Friday, December 27, 2013 - Deep ruby color quite unusual for Burgundy.
Nose is also atypical with tonnes of ripe blackberry fruit, pronounced animal notes, graphite minerality and aromas of violet. The fruit is so ripe and with the presence of bretty notes it makes the nose almost Bordeaux-like. Fruit on the palate is mouthcoating, finish lingering with black cherry notes and minerals. An exquisite wine, if an untypical Burgundy.
