Sunday, July 3, 2016 - This was a pleasant surprise and it's drinking beautifully now with lovely floral lift and Gevrey minerals. Silky and fine and while it doesn't have the complexity and intensity of a premier cru, it makes up for it in character and perfect balance with wonderful notes of ripe cherries, pine and forest floor. Elegant and delicious with no signs of the heat of the vintage.
