Oh damn Gina... lots of VA going on. Cork was leaked, and smells like hot tofu. Didn’t expect much, but this was the last of 3 bottles over 14-15 years and they were all varied degrees of not good. RIP.

This was a pleasant surprise and it's drinking beautifully now with lovely floral lift and Gevrey minerals. Silky and fine and while it doesn't have the complexity and intensity of a premier cru, it makes up for it in character and perfect balance with wonderful notes of ripe cherries, pine and forest floor. Elegant and delicious with no signs of the heat of the vintage.

This is quite a nice effort for the hot vintage. Definitely darker than normal pinot, with a nose that is dark fruited, but not too stewed or raisinated; mineral, animale, and savory. Has some classic Gevrey notes. The palate is rich, but maintains a nice balance and despite the dark, slightly baked fruit notes it retains some freshness and a nice spiciness. This is definitely not great, but it is quite good, especially when considering the conditions for the year.

DNR as i think this was flawed, i loved this wine a month ago so found and bought some more, cut the foil and saw big mold on top of cork, fill was good but cork was soft and wet top to bottom, nose was fine - some oak and some nice fruit as u would expect from the vintage, palate was disappointing and pointed to this being cooked from heat, could have been the vintage but was very different than my last bottle (which had a dry cork top), a bit astringent and stewed, drinkable but disappointing

nice burgundy but very plain and simple, not hot or cloying but basic nice fruit and not much on the secondary side
